It is white crystal fine powder,which has the special fragrance like cream caramel,and the dilute
solution has a sweet smell like strawberry. 1gram maltol can be dissolved in 82mlwater,
21ml ethanol,81ml glycerin or 28ml propanediol.It will change red till meet the sunlight.
